Abstract

ZeOntologyNewsExtractor (ZONE) provides a new approach of RSS feeds. Aimed at companies and the public this news monitoring tool, overrides the characteristics of traditional RSS aggregators, mobilizing them in semantic web technologies. It corrects their limitations by allowing the user to filter information according to several criteria and by categorizing them.

ZONE is now a simple prototype, but the project will become available next year. Indeed its founder Christophe DESCLAUX won the BoostYourCode 2012 contest organized by INRIA. He will pass one year working on the project full time to provide a complete application to the community.

Christophe will present at this conference the project, the Semantic Web tools and his vision of the BoostYourCode contest and his years of work ahead.
