Abstract

Amen Souissi currently a student researcher at INRIA (french National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control) and the Ecréall company will present its PhD theme: The complete generation of collaborative information systems from models that focus on business processes.

Amen Souissi assisted by Ecréall’s team members has developed a method, a metamodel and a processing chain that generate 100% python code of a web collaborative application on the basis of models that describe how work all employees of a company.

The metamodels and tools developed for it are under GPL and hosted on the INRIA’s forge.

Innovation focuses on the metamodel and the chain of transformation that are Eclipse plugins.

The method named "QQOQCCP" is based on iteration of questions asked at each stage of modeling, these questions are "What?", "Who?", "Where?", "How?", "How many?" , "Why?".

The metamodel called "MACoP" allows the modeling of collaborative information system from four different views, the functional view, the informational view, the view of resources, and organizational view. The functional view focuses on "How?". It uses the BPMN 2.0 to represent the business processes that is to say, the different activities and theirs sequences. The informational view focuses on "What?" and "Where?" that is to say data. It consists of several diagrams that deal with the document classification, the application configuration, etc.. For example, the document classification is produced by a diagram that uses a notation close to UML class diagrams, but without the behavioral concepts. The resource perspective deals with the "Who?", It is based on a representation of roles. A role is a responsibility of the collaborative information system users. The organizational view was few treated voluntarily, because we have focused our work on the generation of collaborative portals.

Currently, the generated GUI is starits from models, it lacks the ergonomic aspects that we believe we can add through a model of human-machine interactions expressing the ergonomic constraints, what is the next research topic and development of Ecréall.

A research article on this subject is being validated by the TSI journal (french Technology and Computer Science). The originality of the approach is that Ecréall has published early results of research and development under a free license.

Biographie

Amen Soussi est étudiant en thèse à l’Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille en contrat CIFRE à l’INRIA et à Ecréall dont il est l’un des associés.

Michaël Launay est ingénieur et gérant fondateur de la société Ecréall, trésorier de l’association PoleNord qui regroupe des SSLL du Nord-Pas de Calais, il contribue à la documentation francophone de Plone.

Ecréall est une société de 6 personnes fondée en 2005 spécialisée dans la réalisation de portail collaboratif à partir du CMS Plone. Deux associés d’Ecréall sont membres de la fondation Plone. Plus d’informations sur http://www.ecreall.com
